Elizabeth Dykstra, M.D.

Physician

Dr. Dykstra started her practice in the Nashville area in the fall of 2001 and joined Heritage Medical Associates in August 2009. She is from Griffin, GA and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi with a major in Biology. She returned to Georgia for medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and completed her Pediatric residency training at Vanderbilt in 2001. Dr. Dykstra is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt, serving as a preceptor for Pediatric residents.

Dr. Dykstra and her husband, Jay, have two children: Jake (April 2003) and Madison (March 2006). They are members of Christ Presbyterian Church and she enjoys playing with her children, cooking, and fitness. She looks forward to having time to get back on the golf course when her children are older.
